Business Out Reach Services
KLSBEC recognizes that time is at a premium for many business owners and it can often be difficult to leave your business. That’s why the KLSBEC has launched a new, FREE, Out Reach Service for 2009 where SBEC manager, Diane Steven will be available to make on-site visits your place of business.
During the on-site visit you will be updated on business services, events, and seminars that would be of benefit to your business. You will also be given the opportunity to consult with Diane about your business and address any concerns you may be having.

Resource Library
The KLSBEC offers an extensive resource library that includes books, magazines, directories, and reference materials that will assist you with your business research and planning.
Free Business Guides:
The resource library is fully stocked with a wide range of free publications to assist with all aspects of starting and operating your business.
Computer Workstation and Internet Access
The KLSBEC provides access to a computer workstation with up-to-date software and high-speed Internet access, to assist in your business research and planning. There will be KLSBEC staff on-site and available to direct you to numerous on-line resources.

Youth Opportunities
The KLSBEC offers a variety of youth entrepreneurship programs, including Summer Company and the Ontario Secondary School Business Plan Competition.
In addition, the KLSBEC is the Community Partner for the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), a national charity organization that provides start-up funding to young entrepreneurs.
